We have a client who in April (beginning) overpaid by $5,000. Since then she has been waiting for a reimbursement. We haven’t even been able to get a timeline for when she will get the $5,000 returned to her. Has anyone else seen this?

I’m wondering if other assistors have had problems when calling MassHealth or the Connector on behalf of a client. The past few times I have called on behalf of a client, they are not able to find the Navigator Designation Form, and won’t speak to me without the client on the phone. We have all […]
We have a college student who lives on campus in Boston, but her permanent residence is in California. Her parents are on Medicaid in California. Based on her family income, she will qualify for either a subsidized plan. However, we were told that college dorm addresses will not work, an applicant needs an actual residence to […]
Does anyone know if there are waivers for clients who are unable to make their first month’s premium? If there are waivers, where do we find and submit them?
If a person checks off that s/he will not be claimed as a dependent on the application, but then the person is claimed as a dependent by his/her parents, what are the financial implications? Would there be a tax penalty?
