Consistent Issues with NDFs, RFI, and Organization Validity with MH - Our organization has been experiencing consistent issues with MH Assister line recognizing NDFs as having the ability to speak on a member's behalf and that anyone in the org can speak regardless of who is listed on the form. We have also been told that our organization does not exist as a Nav org (which we have been for at least 10 years). In addition to that, we have had extremely long processing times on RFI and it is often requiring follow-up from a Nav for it to be recognized. We typically allow the 7 days before reaching out to HC for those eligible HC coverage. But for MH and those that need coverage asap, RFI is either not being assigned for processing or if it is assigned it is still awaiting processing after several weeks and sometimes up to a couple of months. This is becoming time consuming for our Navigators (because of the above issue with NDFs and having to go through several customer service reps before someone understands the NDF abilities) as well as unfair to people that need the coverage. We appreciate any insights or feedback that could help us expedite these things.
