Join our Medicaid Defenders Phone Campaign! - Hello Loopers! We know that many of you want to join the fight to protect Medicaid. It is “make or break” time in Congress to determine whether they will cut hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicaid, known as MassHealth in Massachusetts. The cuts they are proposing would rip away health care coverage from hundreds of thousands of people in Massachusetts who rely on it for life-saving treatment and medications.We have the chance to stop these cuts if we act now. A handful of members of Congress will be the deciding votes and there are signs that they nervous about voting to cut health care for so many people.Health Care For All is working with partners to hold multiple phone banks over the coming weeks to call constituents in key Congressional Districts and ask them to tell their members of Congress to oppose any cuts to Medicaid. We know this can work because we did it before when The Health Care Defenders Campaign in 2017 helped stop the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.Please sign up for our first phone bank this Wednesday, May 14th at 5pm by clicking HERE. We will provide training and help people get set up to make calls.
