Retro Request - Can someone explain more about the retro requests and how soon will we see the information in EVS? Example: Member came to the ER on 08/15 - Rec'd Bill Worked with Pt to update his application, they are homeless, no income on 09/08. At the time of the application asked that retro enrollment go back to 08/01. Submitted the application and approved for Careplus coverage. It started for the member on 09/01. (No RFI's and not in a pending status.) Keep checking with EVS and it still shows that member is inactive on 08/15 and 08/01. How do we know if it was accepted? At the time member had no changes besides becoming homeless. Pt also doesn't have a phone, so I cant do a 3 way call with him to ask customer service. Does anyone have any guidance on are they going to approved every retro request? or how long it will take the system to process and show in EVS?
