Work requirement and APTC's? - I have a member who is 60 years old. Citizen, No Income, No dependents, no medical issues and Single. He has been on MassHealth for years. He basically takes care of his Mom and drivers her to appointments etc. He is unable to meet the work, volunteer, job training, or school for MassHealth. (per him) While he will not be eligible for MassHealth, will they offer him a Connector Care Plan with APTC'S? Or will he just have no health insurance? And I have another member who is 63 and she is in poor health that does not make it possible to hold down a job. She basically watches her grandchildren. Could that be used to meet the work requirement? or could she say she volunteers to meet the requirement? I know all of this is unfolding. Just trying to have something to tell my members.
